Manufacturing Solid Surface Bathroom Unit

Our latest solid surface installation was done for a residential bathroom renovation. The interior designer briefed us on an interesting installation that makes up a vanity top, flowing into the shower for a foot rest. The unit is constructed using solid surfacing as the preferred material.

Solid surface material is solid through its entire thickness and can be fabricated with inconspicuous seams, rendering its surface hygienic. Solid surfaces do not support the growth of bacteria or fungi.

Because of these properties, solid surfacing is used in public areas and for sensitive applications such as airport check-in counters, walls and work surfaces in hospitals and hotels.

In this instance the solid surfacing worked well as it has the ability to withstand constant moisture as well as water, being in a bathroom this was critical.
